Cars I Want

As a car enthusiast, I constantly am eyeballing some of the hottest new cars to fill my dream garage. Fast and loud seems to be my ideal car. This list contains some mean machines! Check out the 7 cars I want to fill my dream garage.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Chevy’s long-time mid-engine supercar has been the Corvette Stingray. Having existed since the 1960s, the current version has a long history to build off. Today you can purchase one starting at $62,195.

The Stingray comes loaded with a V8 engine that puts out 490 ponies and 465 ft-lb of torque. In addition to the power, the beautiful jet-inspired cockpit makes taking off feel like taking flight!

Custom Subaru WRX STI

Since the early 2000s, the STI has been a custom car fan’s dream! The aesthetic of the STI has gone through several changes, and die-hards have been calling for a hot hatch for years now. We may never see a hatch again, but the STI has customizations for any taste.

Starting at $37,245, the WRX STI offers plenty of room to spend on modifications. Customized STIs can produce over 400HP, making the rally-inspired whip nothing to scoff at! Additionally, all-wheel drive is perfect for the snow.

Ford Mustang Shelby 500GT

While the classic 1965 Shelby Cobra sells for millions today, the new 500GT is more within reach. This iconic American muscle car still draws the envy of onlookers! While modernized, the 500GT still dawns on the classic Cobra emblem.

Ford sells this well-known beast for $72,900 and sports a mean 5.2L V8 supercharged engine. It can produce 760HP and 625lb-ft torque. This car has a bite!

Nissan GTR

The GTR stretches our garage budget a bit more, and NISMO is firmly dream territory. Despite the higher cost, the GTR is Japanese racing at its finest. A popular Fast and Furious car, the GTR will make anyone feel like taking on Dom Toretto.

The GTR has a steep starting price at $113,190. Aside from the price, the GTR puts out 600HP from a V6! This quick ride also provides all that power in an AWD platform, meaning I can take this puppy out in the snow!

Toyota Supra

Staying in Japanese car land, the Supra recently made a long-waited return. The return saw an inclusion of BMW engines, and a Z4 inspired style. With updated interior and entertainment systems, the Supra has arrived in the future.

Toyota offers the Supra at a competitive price compared to other cars on this list. A base model will run you $43,190. With two engine options, you could be pushing 382 horses, making the Supra a zippy coupe!

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody

While other Challenger trims offer AWD, the SRT Hellcat Widebody employes RWD for raw power. Alongside the Mustang, the Challenger SRT Hellcat is a modern take on classic American Muscle. Designed around a throwback inspired body, the Hellcat brings Challenger into the 21st century.

Dodge doesn’t skimp on power, providing the Hellcat with a 6.2L HEMI Supercharged V8 engine. Producing a road curling 717HP, this monster comes in at $67,465. All those savings will no doubt go straight to gas though!

Ford F-150 Raptor

Our last entry isn’t a car, but rather a truck. Now to be fair, it is technical a “sport” model, but the specs are what draws me to the Raptor. Being smaller than other F-150 models, the Raptor is easier to handle, especially with all the power it hides.

At $64,145 the Raptor finds itself right at home amongst the other cars on this list. It also produces 450HP from a 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 engine. This race inspired truck gives power a lift, and maybe a tug or two as well!

My Dream Garage

I could have taken the easy route and want to fill my garage with Lamborghinis or Aston Martin’s or Maclaren’s. Yet, while great, I couldn’t hope to own one realistically. Therefore, these cars are more like daydream cars, or “one day” cars.

I currently have a Subaru WRX, it is fast and loud, and I love it! It is a dream car because I haven’t modified it yet, but it is coming! Which one of these 7 cars would you like to see in your driveway and why?

Did I miss any great dream cars? Let me know in the comments below!
